[VOLUNTEER] Education Partnerships Africa
DEADLINE 20TH NOVEMBER.
Education Partnerships Africa (EPAfrica) is recruiting committed and enthusiastic Cambridge students for a ten-week project in Summer 2016.
Successful applicants will work in small student teams, in partnership with rural secondary schools in Kenya and Uganda. EPAfrica aims to work with these schools to make a long-term, sustainable impact through the investment of durable educational resources and the creation of sustainable health, careers and gender equality programmes.
We do not ask our volunteers to be teachers. Instead, we ask them to immerse themselves in the school environment and develop strong relationships with the school staff and students, so they can design and implement investment projects that are tailor-made to solve the individual problems of each school.
