As a striking visual way to end our month-long campaign to raise awareness and funds for Syrian refugees, Amnesty will be holding a candelelight vigil. We will meet outside of Carluccio’s, and will provide candles to all who come. After doing a circuit of the city center, we will finish in Clare Chapel, where hot drinks will be provided. A suggested donation of 2 pounds to participate will go towards our sponsored charity, Syria Relief, which provides emergency medical care, food aid and education for those 7.6 million internally displaced by the conflict, thus helping to reduce the mass migration from Syria.
