[Job Opportunity] Residential Seminar Assistant

Job description:

Since 2012, the China UK Development Centre and Maxer Education Institute have had over 2,500 visiting students from across Asia attending residential seminars in Cambridge and Oxford. The programme aims to offer students a short yet exciting experience of studying and living in Cambridge and Oxford. As a Seminar Assistant, you will be responsible for helping out during students’ lectures, supervisions, local visits (including trips to London and Oxford), social activities, and logistics (e.g., airport transfers). The dates will be as follows:

Seminar 1: 23 January – 05 February, 2018

Seminar 2: 25 January – 07 February, 2018

Seminar 3: 26 January – 08 February, 2018

Seminar 4: 27 January – 09 February, 2018

Seminar 5: 28 January – 10 February, 2018

Seminar 6: 29 January – 11 February, 2018

Seminar 7: 05 February-12 February, 2018

Salary:

The payment comprises a £600 fixed salary plus an award of up to £200 for seminar 1 to 6, and a £300 fixed salary plus an award of up to £100 for seminar 7.

All breakfasts, dinners and a private college formal dinner will be provided.

Eligibility & Application

We are looking for individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with prior experience of organising events and working effectively within a team.
