[Event] Last chance to see Kettle’s Yard
From 22 June 2015 Kettle’s Yard will close for a major redevelopment to create a new education wing and improved facilities for visitors. Don’t miss your last chance to visit the house and gallery before then. The gallery is open 11.30am-5pm Tues-Sun and the house is open 12-5pm, Tues-Sun.

Late Opening

Join us for a special late opening of the New Rhythms exhibition and the house. In the house you can find three displays amongst the permanent collection: Grace and Speed in Helen’s bedroom, works by David Kindersley at the library table and Contemporary Drawings curated by the Drawing Room throughout the house.

Lucy Landymore percussion recital
11 June
Solo percussion recital by Cambridge born Lucy Landymore, winner of BBC Young Musician of the Year Percussion section. Lucy is an exceptional musician with astonishing skills on a large range of instruments, and at Kettle’s Yard will play works for marimba, Cuban percussion and drum kit including two of the most challenging works for drums; the notorious The Black Page by Frank Zappa and the ‘fiendishly difficult’ Hop by Paul Lansky.
