[CALL FOR POSTS] LGBT History Month and Women’s History Month
February is LGBT History Month and March is Women’s History Month. To celebrate diversity and unity, historytothepublic.org (HTTP) is inviting guest writers to present new research and ideas on either theme (or both). The topics should have a historical link, but we welcome articles from all disciplines. We are looking for new writers who have a passion for sharing their research on any historical topic or era, with a wide audience. If this is you, contact us at historytothepublic@gmail.com. The deadlines for submission have been extended to January 30th (LGBT themed posts) and February 15th (WHM), so there is still time to submit.
HTTP is a multidisciplinary public history project that focuses on sharing, learning, and disseminating information using social media and other online platforms. We are a group of undergraduate, postgraduate and post-doctoral researchers from different universities across the world, with writers based in Cambridge, London and China. We come from a variety of different backgrounds, and not all of us are historians.
