Whisky specials and Goodbye
Dear MCR:
We have three specials tonight. Do come by and try at least one.
The first is a whisky liquor made from 10 year old Speysides. It has lots of cloves, cinnamon, and orange in it. If you like whisky cocktails, like an old fashioned, or you just don’t normally like whisky, this is a whisky for you! And, it’s only £3 a double
The second whisky is this year’s Kilchoman. It’s pretty darn good, and only £4 for a double.
The third is a Glefarclas 105 aged 20 years. This is £9 a double and well worth it. Try it with a drop of water.
On a sadder note, this is probably my and Freddie’s last email as bar mangers. It’s been an absolutely wonderful year working in the bar — in part because all of you are so fantastic. Finally, a big thank you to all our bartenders and good luck to the new managers, Toby Roeder and Olly McMillan. They really know their stuff.
