[RESEARCH VOLUNTEER] Volunteers needed (65-80 yo) – Centre for Neuroscience in Education
The Centre for Neuroscience in Education is currently looking for volunteers aged 65-80, to participate in a two-part visual working memory study, investigating working memory and the relationship with mathematics.
The study requires coming in on two separate days to perform attentional and working memory computerized tasks and a pencil test. The main task will require to memorize the colour and direction of objects. Each session will last around 2 hours and 30/45 minutes with a break at the middle of each session with tea and biscuits.
The study will take place at the Craik Marshall Building on the Downing Site. The participant will be mailed a cheque in the amount of £35 at the conclusion of both sessions.
Volunteers should be first level English-speaking participants who are aged 65-80, and have no current or historical diagnosis of any developmental, psychiatric, neurological disorder. Participants should also have normal or corrected-to-normal vision and must not be colour blind.
