[CONFERENCE] Open-call for IMAGINE IF! 2017 – accelerator for science ventures

I am a PhD student in the Department of Physics and a part of an organisation run by PhD students and PostDocs called Innovation Forum Cambridge Branch. We are organising a pitching competition for researchers (PhDs, PostDocs and Principal Investigators). We are organising this competition as we identified that communication skills, commercial acumen and public engagement are becoming increasingly important for researchers. We think it is a great opportunity for researchers from Clare College to gain extra presentation skills and also potentially secure some industry collaborations. The final of the competition will be held at the University of Oxford and will be attended by accomplished academics and industry executives.
