- Formal Hall menus will be available on the College web-site and published for the week ahead.
- Buttery menus will be available to view on Twitter
[Study volunteers needed]: Alcohol and gambling study
Are you a male who drinks alcohol socially, who has gambled at least once in the past year and who wants to help research?
Then maybe you could be interested in taking part in a study that investigates alcohol and gambling behaviour. Participants will be required to attend a 4-hour afternoon testing session in which you will
receive a small or moderate dose of alcohol. You will receive £32 for your involvement in the study – with the opportunity to earn up to £50, depending on the amount you win while performing gambling tasks.
Testing will be conducted at Herchel Smith Building for Brain and Mind Sciences (on Addenbrooke’s Site). Travel costs from Cambridge centre will be reimbursed. If you are interested and would like more
information then please contact Juliette Tobias-Webb for further information, email: jjt40@cam.ac.uk
The study will be running over the next few months so if you do not have time now to take part, however find you do have time later in the semester, please feel free to contact me.
