Tutor Doctor Cambridge is a professional, friendly, local and responsive tutoring service which provides 1:1 in-home tutoring in and around Cambridge. We have tutored over 1000 students since 2010 and support 7 Cambridge schools with intervention support for students 1:1 and in small groups.
We are currently recruiting fantastic, inspiring tutors who share our passion for learning. Our tutors work for us on an independent basis. This means we find them the work, typically in the evenings or at weekends and we manage the service and admin, leaving them to focus on delivering the learning for the student in the student’s home. You don’t necessarily have to be a qualified teacher, but we are looking for individuals who have good tutoring experience, expertise in their subject but more importantly have the passion and capability to help others learn and fulfil their potential. Many of our best and current tutors are PhD students, seeking to impart their knowledge and expertise in return for financial help during their studies. Since our tutors choose to work as much or as little as they like, this flexible style of working really compliments the demands of a postgraduate’s schedule.
