[ACCOMMODATION] LinkAges Intergenerational Housing Project
Want to make a positive impact, and get affordable rent on the side?!
Calling all PhD students! The LinkAges Intergenerational Housing Project [1] has launched!
LinkAges Housing [1] is a groundbreaking, national-first pilot initiative. PhDs are invited to register interest for flats in a local sheltered housing scheme at reduced rents, in return for volunteering 30 hours per month with existing older residents. This is a national-first project, set up by Cambridge Hub in partnership with a major housing association. Evidence from other countries points to profoundly positive impact on loneliness and illness for older residents, and a chance to live more affordably while gaining a better understanding of what older generations have to offer, for you!
We have an information session on 21st June next week from 17:00, at ideaSpace City – register now for further details.
