A free one week stay in our base in a stunning mountain town near Vietnam (called Yangshuo) is included for all participants at the end of the projects.

What?
Gotoco is offering free and partially-funded places for anyone, from anywhere to go to China this summer. Apply now to volunteer on our cultural exchange based TEFL internships.
Who?
Since 2011, the Gotoco team has been helping students from around the globe visit China. Starting in Yangshuo, Guangxi six years ago, the Gotoco team has built up an extensive network of summer camp partners all over China. Our recruitment leaders, Daniel and Richard, first met on their Chinese Studies course at the University of Oxford. The pair formed a strong friendship with Lisha, now our China Coordinator, while living in Beijing and founded Gotoco to combine their knowledge, expertise and diverse talents in order provide our volunteers with an unforgettable summer in China.
When?
We run a range of programmes, from 2 to 12 weeks in duration. The earliest start-dates are at the beginning of June, while some programmes end as late as October, exact dates vary for each programme. You can tell us your ideal dates on our short application page
Where?
Gotoco runs summer camps across China, in both urban and rural locations. Get lost in beautiful scenery in Yangshuo, Guangxi or jump into the hustle and bustle of Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Whatever you’re interested in, Gotoco’s got the place for you. We run camps in 100+ locations throughout China, offering a mixture of culture, history and adventure. At the end of each programme our volunteers will have the chance to spend a week in Yangshuo: Lonely Planet’s top destination in China.
