Speaker bio:
Originally from California, Jeania Ree Moore is an M.Phil. student in the Faculty of Divinity focusing on Christian Theology. A graduate of Yale University (B.A. Humanities 2012) and Emory University (M.Div. 2015), Jeania Ree has research interests in theological aesthetics, critical race theory, African American studies, and American religious history. Her vocational goals are ministerial as well as academic, and she is currently in the ordination process with the United Methodist Church. She is studying at Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar.
