[Event] PGCE OPEN AFTERNOON
Dear all,
The Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge is delighted to be holding a PGCE OPEN AFTERNOON on FRIDAY 3 NOVEMBER. If you are looking to get into teaching, we would love to welcome you to the Faculty of Education to find out more about our Primary and Secondary PGCE courses. This event will give you the opportunity to look round the Faculty, attend a course information session and to meet members of our teaching and admissions teams. The University of Cambridge is RANKED AS THE NUMBER ONE TEACHER TRAINING PROVIDER IN ENGLAND (Good Teacher Training Guide 2017) and is rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. Cambridge PGCE trainees experience over 120 days in a variety of different educational settings including mainstream schools, special schools, museums and outdoor education settings. Our courses are taught in a long-established, fully integrated partnership with a broad range of schools. The Cambridge PGCE leads to both QTS and an internationally recognised PGCE Masters level qualification, enabling progression to our part-time Master of Education course in just one year. On completion of the PGCE, our trainees are always in high demand from headteachers, with many going on to school leadership positions very quickly.
