[Event] Clare Politics – Two-State Solution in the era of Trump
Hello,
Thanks to those who came along to Clare Politics event with Sir Roderic Lyne – it was great to see so many of you there!
Next Tuesday, we’ll be having our fifth event of term. Together with the Cambridge Middle East and North Africa Forum, we’ll be welcoming the Israeli ambassador to the UK, Mark Regev, who will be joined by Chris Doyle, the Director of the Council for British-Arab Understanding (CAABU). Coming from opposite ends of the political spectrum, they’ll be discussing ‘The Two-State Solution in the era of Trump.’ As ever, the event will be free and open to all university members. However, due to tight security measures, we are organising the event through Eventbrite and anyone who wishes to attend will have to obtain a ticket from the following link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-future-of-the-two-state-solution-in-the-era-of-trump-tickets-39687517433
The Israeli embassy have asked us to follow these rules:
– Participants must use their hermes email address to sign up for the event, give their full name and bring their camcard to the event next Tuesday.
– Those who are not carrying camcards will not be permitted entry to the event.
– No bags are permitted in the auditorium.
– The event location will be released via email, after sign-up.
We will be adding the link to our Facebook event this evening (http://bit.ly/2iErRFs). Until 9pm, Clare students will have priority over booking. We are organising the event alongside CMENAF and there is a limited number of seats, so we expect demand for the event to be high. Don’t miss out! Let us know if you have any questions, and we look forward to seeing many of you there!
Best wishes,
Clare Politics
