MCR by-elections summer 2019

Dear Clare,

Thank you for voting in the general election at the beginning of the month. I am delighted to have been elected president and hope I can serve the MCR community well.

Certain positions remain unfilled with one being re-opened for nominations, therefore a by-election will be held with voting commencing 7^th of June 2019 and closing on the 10^th of June 2019. Elected committee members will begin in their role on the 10^th June 2019.

The following non-executive positions are available. Please send your nomination to mcr-president@clare.cam.ac.uk. Contested non-executive candidates will need to submit manifestos. Note there is no requirement to fill non-executive positions.

Anyone holding an executive or non-executive position may hold additional non-executive roles.

• 31 May: Nominations Close
• 1 June: Candidates nominations confirmed
• 4 June: Manifestos (if needed) are due
• 7 June: Voting begins
• 10 June: Voting closes

• Male Welfare Officer
• Accommodation Officer
• Green Officer
• Exchange Officer (NB: If the ballot for this position is identical to the general election then the option to re-open nominations will be removed, in accordance with our constitution)
