Lent Term Week 1

Dear Clare MCR,

Well, it’s Week 1 so welcome back!  I thought I would update you on what we have in store this term. As well as the usual plethora of formals, bops and Clareity events that you would expect at Clare, some of our special events for Lent Term include:

• Our annual MCR Burns Night, which as usual is followed by a Ceilidh in the Great Hall
• The inaugural and long-awaited Guide Dog Puppy Party in the MCR (I personally can’t wait for this)
• The Clareity Research Symposium (put it in your diary now – it’s on the 12th March – no excuses, it’s going to be awesome!)
• Plus plenty more in the pipeline!

If you want to hold your own event or have any ideas for events you want to run please do get in contact. We can potentially fund any events that you want to organise providing they are open to all.

I’m also looking to hold another open MCR meeting soon which I’ll update you on nearer the time. It would be great to see as many of you there are possible. Details to follow.

We’re starting the process of redesigning the MCR website so you should notice some changes in the coming months. It needs to be made far more user friendly for mobile devices and Richard Gunning is doing a sterling job of bringing it up to date.
