Class title
Game Changers: Business Disruptors
A tutor is required to teach International students on an afternoon class in Business. The class aims to teach students about the new game changes in international business.
From the Summer Discovery website: Flying drones, computer chips for artificial intelligence, and engineering the boundaries of Siri are just some of the concepts the people of “Silicon Fen” in Cambridge have been working on. Some of the world’s largest tech powers, engineers, and researchers have set roots in Cambridge. With more than 4,500 high-tech firms in this city, it is the perfect place to study a course that will explore the ways in which cutting-edge companies have transformed the way we do business. Explore how the business models of modern disruptors such as Amazon, Uber, Microsoft, Samsung, and Apple have literally changed the world and altered the way we think, behave, and learn about a certain idea, item, product, or service. This course will provide the framework to understand the nature of disruption that is happening from industry to industry and will allow students to apply these same techniques as part of a final project where they will work in groups to create their own (perhaps disruptive) business.
The class of international students are English speaking aged 16-18
Pay: £27.50 per hour
