[EVENT] Tell the University what you think about student financial support!
There is an open meeting for students starting at 16:00 on Thursday 24 January at the University Centre. Tea/coffee and cakes will be available on arrival from 15:45.
The meeting is open to all students, undergraduate and postgraduate, but places are limited. Please sign up here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ssi-student-open-meeting-tickets-54703311076
This meeting is a chance for you to:
· Share your ideas about how the University should be supporting students
· Tell us what you think about existing financial support at Cambridge
· Find out more about the Student Support Initiative (SSI), a major new fundraising campaign to transform student support at Cambridge for both undergraduates and postgraduates.
The meeting will be hosted jointly by Evie Aspinall (CUSU President), Sofia Ropek Hewson (GU President), and Professor Graham Virgo and Dr Mark Wormald (co-chairs of the SSI steering committee).
Students have already been involved in planning and shaping the SSI – the CUSU and GU presidents sit on the steering committee – but we want to hear from as many students as possible as we look to transform the future of student support at Cambridge. The student voice is important!
