Cambridge University Collegium Musicum, the University’s period instrument ensemble, join forces with Cambridge University Chamber Choir for J.S. Bach’s St John Passion, directed by Margaret Faultless and Nicholas Mulroy. Margaret Faultless is an internationally-renowned specialist in historical performance practice and co-leader of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. Nicholas Mulroy, who will be performing the role of the Evangelist, has been described as ‘an Evangelist of choice, dramatic yet never over-involved, engaged reporter rather than partisan witness’ (Fiona Maddocks – The Observer).
