Praised for his “understated virtuosity” (Bach Track) pianist Alasdair Beatson is highly regarded as a distinctive and vibrant musician. The Cambridge alumnus will give a recital of Ravel, Schubert, and Beethoven’s Waldstein sonata, interspersed with simple yet captivating miniatures (the Katekok, or games) of Gyorgy Kurtag.
