CUMS SO Perform Brahms Violin Concerto – 12 march 2016 at 8pm – west road concert hall

CUMS Symphony Orchestra are delighted to welcome the charismatic Venezuelan conductor Carlos Izcaray back to Cambridge to conduct Rimsky-Korsakov Scheherazade and Brahms Violin Concerto, featuring soloist Julia Hwang.

Julia Hwang, winner of the CUMS Concerto Competition 2015, has already earnt international recognition as a soloist, and performs on on a world-class Peter Guarnerius violin that was made in Mantua in 1698.
