[NOTICE] Apply To Be A Grad/MCR Rep For Student Minds Cambridge
Do you want to help raise awareness in Cambridge of mental health issues? Are you interested in joining in with the work of Student Minds Cambridge?
The Student Minds Cambridge committee of 2016 are looking for a Student Minds Rep to represent grad students at their college. The role can be done remotely, as your main role is to circulate information and publicise events within your college, as well as get involved with events that SMC or you put on. It’s a small time commitment but is a massively useful role to enable SMC to spread the word and co-ordinate between colleges. You will also have support from your college’s JCR reps!
Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity and our Cambridge branch will be putting on exciting events and generally raising awareness of mental health issues throughout the year.
What does the role entail?
- Linking up with the welfare staff and officers within your college
- Publicising events within your college – online and on campus
- Coming to termly meetings with other reps
- Taking part in fundraising events
- Running our campaigns (for instance, our photo campaigns) within your college.
HOW TO APPLY
Email the rep coordinator Alisha Burman at arb95, telling us…
Your name, your college and your year and, most importantly, why you’d like to be an SMC rep.
APPLICATIONS CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT ON MONDAY 29th February
