[NOTICE] Nominations for the position of GU President are now open

Nominations for the position of GU President are now open! The President is the Graduate Union’s elected leader, and has the job of representing and supporting graduate students at the University. It is a full-time, paid position, and as well as having a significant role within the university’s decision-making, offers great leadership experience and the chance to develop a range of skills. If you want to try something else within the university, are passionate about representing and supporting your fellow students, and are interested in taking on a diverse and influential role, you could be the next GU President!

On Tuesday 17th November at 7pm, we will be hosting an information evening at the GU Lounge (17 Mill Lane), where anyone interested in the role can come and talk to members of the Elections Committee and the previous GU Executive Committee to learn more about the GU. If you’re a grad student who hasn’t yet been to the GU, it’s a good excuse to come and see what goes on! Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
