[EVENT] Downing MCR Mini-Ball
Downing College MCR will be hosting this years’ annual Downing MCR MINI-BALL on September 5th 2015!! With a Back to the Future theme (1985 science fiction film), prepare for a trip through the WILD WILD WEST, THE 1950’S and onwards into THE FUTURE (aka 2015). The Mini-Ball will open at 4.30pm on the paddock for a fantastical garden party powered by 1.21 gigawatts, followed by a sparkling drinks reception in the SCR, a 4-course especially-designed BTTF-themed dinner, and a swinging party in the Howard building with decadent, exhilarating and I’m sure hilarious entertainment alongside a space to relax and enjoy some alternative entertainment in E-staircase, finally closing at 1am.
Food and alcohol will be provided throughout the evening, included in the price. The dress code is black tie. On Monday 17th August, tickets will be opened for general release to all colleges. Thanks to subsidies from the Downing MCR, we can offer these tickets at £47.50. Places will be given on a first come – first served basis. Once you have booked a ticket, you will be asked for a bank transfer, including your name as the reference. Watch this space for the booking link on 17th!

Payment deadline: Tuesday 25th August at 5pm (you must pay before this date/time)
After the booking deadline closes (24th August at 12pm), you will be sent an email requesting a bank transfer to the Downing MCR bank account as payment for your ticket. **If you DO NOT pay before 5pm on Tuesday 25th August, you WILL NOT receive a ticket** Please ensure you use your last name and crsid as the booking reference (e.g. MORRISlm602).
